When the two men bump into each other in a diner, Ayala attempts to rekindle the relationship which Jordán fiercely resists until he meets Ayala’s beautiful wife Berta (Elena Varzi) and germinates a malevolent idea. If he eliminates Ayala and makes it look like suicide, he could take the wife for himself; unfortunately for Jordán, Berta isn’t as naive as he thinks she is. Sure, Jordán will taste the high life, attending fancy night clubs donned in tuxedos with beautiful Berta on his arm, but this world is an illusion, and a man as damaged as he is can only be headed for tragedy.
