What is to be said of noir literature and radio?

I have read some Woolrich (under his other pen names too), James Cain, and one of my favorites Night of the Hunter by Davis Grubb.
On radio, I have listened to Bold Venture with Bogart and Bacall on Siena College radio and various other broadcasts on The Big Broadcast, WAMU. It would be interesting to find out how many of these kind of programs are still aired on radio.

I have two of those volumes in hardcover, Deadline at Dawn and The Bride Wore Black

Also, the Collected Stories published by Carroll & Graf

The other Penzler volume I have is Ride the Pink Horse by Dorothy Hughes.

If you keep a library, you might be interested in knowing that Mysterious Press released almost all of Woolrich’s titles (novels and story collections) in print two years ago. They’re all available on Amazon. I bought every one of them! He’s such an underrated literary genius of the 20th century. If you haven’t read David Goodis, you might enjoy him too.
