The title is more of click bait than anything but it is at least worth discussing. Neo Noir in color? Sure. But classic 1940-1959 noir fedoras and femme fatales need to be in black and white. Western noir in color gets more of a pass from me (no fedoras.)
Your thoughts. Debate!
P.S., the “Color” sub-genre doesn’t actually bring any movies up. Is this the boss’s passive-aggressive joke stating that noir can’t be in color? Lol!

LOL that color tag was one of several mistaken tags (just deleted it). But to see all the noirs in color – you can to click on the miscellaneous category called “Colors” – available at (https://heartofnoir.com/category/films-by-misc-categories/colors/)
